looks like the older round-keyed QDL, from the shape of the carriage return lever.
Mmmm ... spray the whole room with DDT while you're at it.
I agree. Early QDL, and 100 series bakelite telephone. Although, I have no idea why the phone needed a shingle, as it got neither particularly warm, or noisy - as the ringer was an external unit.
And paint the walls with that vibrant lead-based paint! The Romans did it, and look at their achievements so many centuries ago!
Don't they claim that the downfall of the Roman empire, among other things, was caused by their lead pipes and the lead-poising that resulted? Ignorance is strength...
