Virginia (greater DC) type-ins in September & November

Two type-ins coming up in Virginia! Info from Monica Barnes:  

#1: September 7, 1-3pm. Go to the Alexandria Library's event page to register. The library will provide plenty of writing prompts and we will bring about twenty of our typewriters for writers to try out. We're even giving away one (or two) typewriters! 




 #2: November 9, 3-5pm, our second annual Vienna Type-In! Patrick Henry Library in Vienna, Virginia, is hosting our type-in event. If you're in the area, or willing to travel, come by and try out our collection of vintage typewriters. Please bring your own to share as well. We will be giving away one (or two) typewriters, so don't miss out.

Vintage Communications Weekend in Pittsburgh area


"Join us at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum for a weekend of vintage communications! ...

Rolla, Missouri type-in February 10

"On Feb. 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Coffeesmith’s, a locally owned coffee shop, located at 707 N Pine St. in Rolla, will host a “type-in,” an event that will allow patrons to come into the venue and type on a real typewriter."
