cafe la cuna distinguished by the typosphere
Breaking news: typewriter-friendly Café La Cuna in Basel, Switzerland, was awarded the "typewriter friendliest café" certificate on the occasion of a spontaneous type-in. The diploma was handed to the owner by the present representatives of the Swiss and American branches of the typosphere and respective runners of sommeregger's sammelsurium, maschinengeschrieben, and manual entry. !Viva la typosfera! !Viven typewriter friendly cafés!

Quite an honor! Is this truly the first international type-in location? They need a plaque!
Michael, it's not the first international Type-In, as there was a Swiss-Italian meet last Saturday in Lugano and the first intercontinental Type-Hunt with public typing this Wednesday, but it clearly is the first International café Type-In.
Great! I vote for a plaque.
And a typewritten plaque at that!
It really was as fun as it looks.
