Speaking from beyond the borders of the area encompassed by the NAtional part of the name, I wonder if a foreigner could take part in NaNoWriMo... I have a nice Remington typewriter itching to produce prose!
There's no limit to *which* nation, Miguel. Join up! November is an international experience.
Thanks, Michael! Just joined the group. In a bout of originality I registered with the name of my blog... let's hope that's a good omen.
I guess I can find the answer to this somewhere in the NaNoWriMo site, but, the entries have to be in English, or they can be submitted in any language?
(I'm re-studying BASIC for some other project... might be interesting submitting a novel written entirely in PRINT statements...)
Any language, and any nation. The web site only counts the words you write, it does not judge them. :-)
You've given me an idea: if I run out of ideas, I'll start including my program listings.
Ian, Connor and I "represented" today. We hit three NaNo write-ins and represented the Typewriter Brigade. Was fun.
